The Women's Leadership Lab
... where Leadership is a Performing Art!
Leadership is more than position or title. It is a participatory process that acknowledges the importance of taking a proactive position: mutual responsibility and accountability, learning and growth, informed decision making, inclusion, and creating economic, political and social change. We work to optimize personal leadership and maximize the success of both the individual and her organization.
In an environment of learning and support, our programs and activities offer a unique combination of tools, strategies and best practices. These include self-assessments and personal inventories, making professional connections, developing networks to expand career options, thinking in the future tense, and practicing successful strategies to address workplace issues and embrace professional opportunities. We work with women at all stages of their professional development.
LAB goals are:
-
To offer a unique professional development process that facilitates learning, growth, confidence, and success for women
-
To help participants create and work towards accomplishing their personal and professional strategic plans
-
To foster confidence and competence through learned self-coaching, effective decision making and managing life's transitions
-
To provide experience and expertise to organizations in succession planning, achieving competitive advantage, and results
From research and development on gender-specific and gender-diverse workforce issues to strategic thinking and planning for women in transition, Healthy Workplaces offers customized individual and group programs. We want you to harness the energy and resources within yourself and your environment to innovate, collaborate and provide results.
